‘Oh, say can you see’ Aguilera at the Super Bowl
Christina Aguilera has been booked to sing the national anthem at this year’s Super Bowl, Super Bowl XLV, on Sunday, Feb. 6.
The singer and star of the recent movie Burlesque last made a Super Bowl appearance during 2000 halftime show. She’ll join the ranks of Carrie Underwood, Neil Diamond, Mariah Carey and Beyonce, all of whom have sung the anthem in years passed.
Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, Texas, will play host to the Super Bowl, where the Green Bay Packers face the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Black Eyed Peas will be the halftime show entertainment.
